Praise dance is a form of worship that allows one to express love and communion with the Sacred through movement and dance.

I believe that movement is a powerful way to connect with Spirit and express your love for the Creator.

I have been dancing since I came out of the womb.  Even though I was never formally trained, I was a dancer in a company called Steel Grace for five years, which blended modern, contemporary, and African dance forms.

I have been praise dancing since 2008.  I have danced during many celebrations and worship services.  In addition to dancing, I have also consulted communities of faith in creating their own praise dance ministry within their congregations.  At times I incorporate movement into spiritual direction as well as during spiritual retreats and workshops.

If you are interested in having praise dance as part of one of your worship services or celebrations, feel free to contact me at nburrowes3@gmail.com.

You dance inside my chest, where no one sees you, but sometimes I do, and that sight becomes this art.
